(formerly known as Burma) has been legendry, not only for its cultural and natural heritages but also for its rich eco-diversities such as fresh air, green mountain ranges, picturesque landscapes, large lakes, long rivers and un-spoilt beaches all of which are unique in the region.
Bagan
was founded in 849 AD and became the capital of first unified Kingdom and the first multinational Union of Myanmar in 1044 AD. It is located in the east bank of the famous Ayeyarwady River with the span of 42 square kilometers where there are over 5,000 mysterious and magnificent stupas and hollow pagodas that are making Bagan the wonders of the world. One of the richest archaeological sites in Asia. Memorable for its tranquility, as well as for its majesty. The temples in Bagan are infinitely fascinating, each with its own story and legend.
Morning visit to Minanthu village to see Payathonzu Pagoda means "three pagodas" is a complex of three interconnected shrines, and then next to Tayok Pye Temple, a large temple in Minnanthu.
In the afternoon return to Bagan for a rest before transfer to Ayeyar jetty to take about two hours boat trip to Kyaukgu Umin, Rock Cave Tunnel. This temple is chosen to be built in on a deep ravine site. The temple is built into the cliff side and consists of a high ground storey surmounted by two receding terraces on which stands a small pagoda. You can climb on top of the temple. Late afternoon go back to Bagan by boat and enjoy sunset the sunset on top of a pagoda or temple chosen by our guide.
